Material models:
- perfectly plastic,
- elastoplastic (Hardening soil model, Cam clay model)
- hypoplastic for fine grained soils (Clay - Masin model, Sand - von Wolffersdorff),
- Multilaminate Model.
Influence of water:
- drained/ undrained conditions,
- stationary / non-stationary flow.

Mode of study

Not applicable.

Department

Institute of Geotechnics (GTN)

Entry knowledge

Soil properties, formation of soils, limit states theory, knowledge of structural mechanics and strength.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Extent and forms are specified by guarantor’s regulation updated for every academic year.

Aims

The students gain complex view on the soil behaviour for whole loading interval up to the limit state of rupture for the determination of the input material parameters of soils and rocks for numerical modelling of the structure-soil interaction.
