Theory of Landscape

Development of Central European landscape, historical influence of human activities on the landscape and its development,
problems of cultural landscape functioning.
Landscape stability and its evaluation, territorial systems of ecological stability. Rekultivations.
Water in landscape, problems in riverbasin and watercourses, restoration of rivers and other bodies of water.
Water erosion, erosion control possibilities.
Basics of soil science, meteorology, climatology in relationship with the landscape.
Basic legislation.

Basic command of pedology – soil forming process, soil types, BPEJ. 3. Basic command of meteorology a climatology – atmosphere and its influence on landscape. 4. Landscape stability and its evaluation, territorial system of ecological stability. 5. Problems in landscape, rekultivations. 6. Water in landscape. 7.
