Semester Project
FSI-GSP-KAcad. year: 2023/2024
Students are working out their projects. The course “Semester Project“ is intended to facilitate this process. It serves as an introductory and studying part of solving the problem; the problem is then solved in the courses “Final Project” and “Diploma Project”. Students familiarises themselves with the problem, establishes contacts with a workplace, for which he/she is going to solve the problem, and clarifies the objectives and areas of solution.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
Course-unit credit is conditional on the following: - participation in lessons, especially in check lessons, presentation of running results of own work, - presentation of results in a written form; app. 20 pages.
Attendance at check laboratory seminars is obligatory, only substantial reasons of absence are accepted and the state of project solution has to be checked in other agreed seminar.
Aims
Students will be made familiar with basic rules applied in the introductory stage of a project solution. They will master the formulation of expected goals of the project, retrieving information and collection of needed documents and results of previous works, they will study and analyse the collected documents, and will be able to set the following steps necessary for solving of the whole project.
