Aims

The course is connected with the topic of the building environment in the context of individual related disciplines - thermal engineering and energy, acoustics and lighting. Emphasis is placed on energy efficiency and its evaluation in relation to existing legislation and the interconnection of energy and construction-physical disciplines. Act on energy management and its consideration in the design of new buildings and reconstructions.
– Ability to optimally design buildings while respecting its user and architectural requirements.
– Respecting current trends and requirements for energy performance of buildings.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

The evaluation is based on the submitted seminar work - resp. partial assignments and the result of the final written test, which covers the lectured issues. The seminar work is submitted in electronic form (in pdf format) and is continuously consulted with the teacher during the semester. The final test in written form covers the issues of individual lectures, successful completion of the test represents obtaining at least 50% of the total number of points.
