International Short-Term Internship

The short-term Erasmus+ internships are governed by the terms and conditions set out in the BUT web portal (https://www.vutbr.cz/studenti/staze/prakticke/erasmus). Further information on these internships, situated in the summer monhts of July and August, can also be provided by the foreign department officer of the study department. Specific internships are negotiated by students and their content is detailed in the Traineeship Agreement.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Credits are awarded subject to the conditions set out in the traineeship contract and the submission of all necessary documents upon returning from the traineeship.
During the traineeship, students fulfill their obligations as they have been negotiated. Upon their return, they submit (within 15 days) to the Foreign Relations Department the original Traineeship Certificate. Subsequently (within 15 days of the request), students complete the EU Survey final report in the European Commission's online database (the request will be sent to their school email).

Aims

The aim of the short-term Erasmus+ internship is to enable students to undertake a field-relevant work experience in a foreign institution, gain employment experience in a European context, develop specific skills, including language skills, and establish and deepen cooperation between educational institutions and private or public entities.
Completing the traineeship will enhance the student's practical skills - s/he will acquire specific workflows and test the possibilities of practical application of previously acquired knowledge.
