This course focuses on introducing students to the world of spatial design and the new technologies currently being used in art and design. In the theoretical part of the course, students will get a basic overview of the principles of digital modeling and post-processing of models. This includes, for example, the design and creation of 3D models in various software such as Autodesk Maya, Rhino, Blender. Students will learn about 3D printing, 3D scanner, CNC and Robotic machining, laser cutting and working with a welding machine, in a metal shop and wood shop mode of work. There will be a discussion of the various practical applications of these technologies and how they can be used effectively in the creation of various art and design projects

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
The following conditions are set for the award of credit: active participation in classes and active involvement in project work.
Attendance is compulsory (2 unexcused absences allowed). Higher number of absences can be compensated by submitting an alternative assignment after agreement with the teachers.
Aims
The aim of the course is to provide students with a comprehensive overview of new spatial technologies and to enable them to use these technologies in their art and design projects.
After completing the course, students will gain a basic orientation and overview of current technologies of spatial creation and an overview of new 3D technologies. They will acquire the basics in practical mastery of the selected methods.
