Contemporary technologies of spatial creation 1

FaVU-ST2-ZAcad. year: 2024/2025

This course focuses on introducing students to the world of spatial design and the new technologies currently being used in art and design. In the theoretical part of the course, students will get a basic overview of the principles of digital modeling and post-processing of models. This includes, for example, the design and creation of 3D models in various software such as Autodesk Maya, Rhino, Blender. Students will learn about 3D printing, 3D scanner, CNC and Robotic machining, laser cutting and working with a welding machine, in a metal shop and wood shop mode of work. There will be a discussion of the various practical applications of these technologies and how they can be used effectively in the creation of various art and design projects
