Practical Introduction to Nanotechnology

FCH-BC_UN_PAcad. year: 2024/2025

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with basic aspects and techniques utilized for preparation of nanoparticles, nanofibers and nanolayers, and, moreover, also analytical methods employed for analysis of these nanosystems. Students attending the course will gain theoretical knowledge and practical exprerience with preparation of anorganic nanoparticles, liposomes, polyelectrolyte complexes, miceral systems and nanolayers. Furthermore, the course also focuses on analytical methods utilized for nanosystmes characterization such as DLS, SAXS or electron microscopy. Last but not least, attention will be paid also to safety aspects of nanotechnology.
