An overview of advanced materials and technologies that are actually solved at the Institute of material chemistry and in which the topics of bachelor's theses, in the study program Chemistry and Materials Technology, are profiled.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

For the successful passing of the course, it is required to obtain at least 50% points from the final credit test. Individual themes are published on the LMS Moodle e-learning system.
The attendance is not controlled.

Aims

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with individual topics in the field of material chemistry, which reflects the scientific and applied intention of the Institute of materials chemistry.
Basic awareness of types of the materials, their properties and basic applications.
Knowledge of polymer, silicate and metallic materials that will benefit in the following narrow-profile courses.
