Bachelor Thesis Seminar

The course prepares students for writing their Bachelor thesis. They will learn methods of investigation, structuring and composition of academic texts and formal requirements placed on the genre of Bachelor thesis. Students will practise academic writing skills and presentations, introduce their topics and prepare their argumentation for Bachelor thesis conclusions and defence.
The course will also utilise skills and knowledge acquired in other courses, namely Language as a discourse of science and technology, Analysis of professional discourse, and Style and genres in English for specific purposes.

The introduction of the main ideas of the planned Bachelor thesis in the written form and in the presentation.
The content and forms of instruction in the evaluated course are specified by a regulation issued by the course guarantor and updated for every academic year.
