Course detail

Cardiac diagnostics

FEKT-MPA-DVKAcad. year: 2024/2025

The course will guide students through the methods and techniques used in cardiac diagnostics. Students will gain insight into the anatomy and physiology of the heart and learn to record, filter and then interpret the manifestations of cardiac activity. The course is designed with emphasis on the interconnectedness of the topics described above.

Aims

Students will master the key methods and techniques used in the field of cardiology diagnostics. Students will be able to correctly record heart activity using appropriate diagnostic devices, filter important information and then interpret the results of diagnostic tests. The course will emphasize the interconnectedness of anatomy, physiology and diagnostic methods so that students understand the complexities of cardiac diagnostics and are able to apply their knowledge across various aspects of the field.
