Course detail
FEKT-MPA-VC2Acad. year: 2024/2025
The course deals with both theoretical and practical aspects of contemporary vehicular communications, with focus on understanding of principles of communication systems based on OFDM principle. In the first part of the course, students significantly deepen their understanding in the area of radio communication signal processing, especially algorithms for demodulation, synchronization and equalization. the second part of the course is edicated to description of individual V2X communication standards, especially 802.11p, 4G LTE and 5G NR standards. During the computer labs, students will verify the theoretical background knowledge on the MATLAB-based examples of processing of real IEEE 802.11p and 5G NR signals.
