Student technical project dealing with a topic selected by the student from a list of topics from the study area Biomedical technology and bioinformatics The topic is chosen at the start of the winter semester of the given academic year and may relate to the future topic of the Master thesis.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Semestral project is evaluated by the expert committee.
The work of the student on the project is checked in frame of regular individual consultations with the supervisor.

Aims

To work out an introductory study of a student technical project and proposal of final project, which will be finished during Master thesis.
The student is able to:
- independently develop technical project,
- create the project technical report,
- defend the project before an expert committee.

Syllabus

Elaboration of the individual technical project.

- Student chooses the project after consultation with supervisor.
- The recommended literature will be given with project settings.
- Student work out the introductory study with literature review after consultation with supervisor.
- Student discusses the proposal of final project with supervisor as necessary.
- Student proposes a solution of his project and discusses next steps as necessary.
- Student works out a technical report on given topic, which will contains literature review, proposal of final project and evaluation method.
