The diploma project is delimited by the focus which the student selects at the beginning of their subsequent master’s degree. For the Architecture specialisation, it is a set of constructions or one construction with demanding operational requirements, elaborated at the level of an architectural study and with the addition of a construction engineering part proving that the student understands how the construction should be executed. For the Architectural Management specialization, it is an architectural study with an added analysis from the commercial and managerial points of view. For the Urban Planning specialisation, it is an urban planning study concerning also the areas of urban engineering and environmental issues.

Entry knowledge

The entirety of all knowledge and skills gained during the student’s preceding structured study in the architecture specialization.

Aims

Serves to verify the maturity of the graduate on completing their two-level structured architectural degree. Demonstrates their ability to manage the most complex tasks connected with the design and execution of structures or groups of building constructions, or with the development of urban areas.
The diploma project verifies the student’s qualified readiness for the execution of their profession as well as for authorization with the Czech Chamber of Architects. It proves the ability of the graduate to apply his/her knowledge in the full width of mutual urban planning, architectural as well as construction technology contexts and verifies his/her complete suitability for the execution of employment and as a prospective team leader.
