Bachelor Seminar (S-TST)

Basic rules and content of pre-production, production and operational preparation of constructions, content of construction technology project by the contractor, project of technological stages of construction, conception of building site equipment proposal and proposal methodology, time schedule and financial plan of the construction. Organisation of the structure of technical stages, machinery setup design, qualitative requirements for construction stages, occupational safety of construction stages.

Entry knowledge

Knowledge of building technology field, in particular of the building process phases of earthworks, substructure, superstructure and interior and finishing works.

Aims

The objective is to gain a complex view of a student on the problem topic of the building-technology design planning. It summarizes the methods of creation, manner of calculation and modelling of principal documents for the building-technology study and production preparation of a particular construction. Practical preparation for successful elaboration of the final bachelor work.
The students gain a comprehensive overview of the construction technological planning area. They become acquainted with the methodology of creation and modelling of the principal documents of the construction technological preparation and selected documents of the production preparation of the particular building supplier. He gets practical training for a successful elaboration of the final bachelor´s thesis.

1. Basic rules and content of pre-construction, construction and operational preparation of constructions, content of construction technological study of the contractor. 2. Content of the documentation for technological construction stage preparation. 3. Technological project of main technological stages implementation for a building construction (earth work, foundations, rough superstructure). 4. Bill of quantities for building constructions. 5. Time schedule and financial plan of construction. 6. Basic conception of site works. 7. Technical documentation for a technical stage, analysis and evaluation of resources. 8. Management of construction organisation for a technical stage. 9. Time schedule for technological stage. 10.–11. Machinery setup design for a technical stage.
