Operating control points and open track, basic terms. Division of operating control points, a division of railway stations according to the position in the railway network

Track alignment design parameters in control operation points and other operation points
Railway superstructure, substructure and its drainage in railway stations
Equipment for passenger and baggage transport, platforms, pedestrian subways and footbridges. Station buildings and reception area.

Aims

The objective of the subject is to introduce students to the problems of design of railway stops, goods points and operation control points, especially railway stations and to practise acquires knowledge and skills.
