Energetic and material demands of building materials technology. Energetic economy of buildings in structural engineering . Industrial wastes, their utilization in the industry of building materials. Building wastes, technology of building wastes recycling. Length of life of building products, legislative and economic barriers of building products recycling. Demands on technical and environmental properties of building products, eco-toxicology, responsibility of manufacturers, protection of consumers. Integrated systems of environmental management and of quality control systems and security in building industry.

General overview and knowledge of ecology in civil engineering with focus on building materials and technology, general knowledge of environmental management system standards.

Aims

Clarification of connections concerning the whole length of life of building products with accent to permanent need of ecological load lowering in the building industry. Knowledge of connection between design and correct recommendation of building materials in structure, respecting ecological demands concerning their interaction with surrounding. To obtain a survey in the area of environmental and economical aspects in secondary raw materials utilization. Systematic approach to the solution of quality end environment problems of production and the utilization of building materials.
