Burning of the fossil fuel, boiler rooms for fossil fuels. Condensation technology. Principals of combined heat and power production – cogeneration units. Sources of low-potential heat. Heating systems with heat pumps. Solar energy – active solar systems and their sizing. Composition of phytomass and phytofuels and their energetic importance. Systems for burning of solid phytofuels. Utilization of waste heat. Basic concepts in atmosphere protection. Economic effectiveness of sources.
