Design of simple hydro-technical structure. Elaboration of project of water structure.
Required scope:
preliminary conceptual design of the structure
location proposal
static and hydrotechnical calculations
calculations and design of functional objects and their allocation
layout plan
technical report.

Entry knowledge

Basic knowledge in the field of Water Management and Water Structures which include hydraulics, statics, river hydraulics and river training, weirs, dams, hydropower, technical drawing in Autocad system.

Aims

The ability to analyze a given problem, overview about necessary documents and about principles of project processing, the ability to use modern computer technology within the project, the orientation in actual technical standards associated with the design.

Student complete goal of this course which include developing of principle of project elaboration and through execution of a term project.
