Basic methods of hydro technical structures design.
Basic methods of design calculations.
Application of solution methods in river training, design of weirs and dams, hydro power utilisation and navigation. Stress is laid on typical samples individual objects.

1. Introduction – importance of water control structures, basic division 2 - 4. Problematic of "River training" – basic information on purposes and methods of regulation of rivers, river banks stability, objects on rivers 5 - 7. Problematic of "Weir structures" - basic information on purposes of weir structures, weir division, fixed weir design 8. Navigation in CZ and Europe 9. - 12. Problematic of "Dams" - basic information on function of water reservoirs and dams, their division, operational objects – basic information 13. Problematic of "Hydro power utilisation" – basic information on hydro power plants, theirs function and importance 14. Excursion – weir Komin, Brno dam and small hydro power plant
