Aims

The aim of the course is to define terms in water management (WM), to summarize necessary data, goals and tasks of WM. Students will learn about management and planning in WM and its organization, legal relations and issues in WM. The context between various branches in WM will be discussed, namely dealing with water need and water sources, volume and quality water resources balance, flood protection and hydroinformatics.
