Behavioural Skills for Managers

The main content of this subject is to gain relevant knowledge from the field of psychology and sociology which is necessary for effective company. Emphasis is put on interpersonal communication in the corporate environment and the ability to apply them in training activities in order to develop managerial skills corporate practice.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Conditions for awarding the course-unit credit:
1) continuous fulfillment of tasks assigned during the simulation management game (10%)
2) written report focused on the teamwork and communication during the simulation game (30%)
3) team presentation summarizing the report from team work (20%)
4) Final Exam (individual): written test in e-learning (60%) - passed with at least 24 points

Conditions for ISP: To obtain credit, prepare seminar papers according to the assignment in the field of managerial communication. Assignment of work must be consulted at the beginning of the semester with the subject guarantor. Take an exam in e-learning. The date of the exam can be agreed with the subject guarantor according to the individual possibilities of the student.

Aims

Students will acquire relevant knowledge from the field of social capability and competence primarily aimed at social interactive patterns. They will have a clear idea of fundamental theoretical models and strategies of human interactions as well as their practical application. In seminars they will consolidate and develop their skills necessary to make the process of social interactions more effective in common situations as well as in demanding situations at work.
