The course focuses on characteristic features of professional business communication. It provides students with the relevant specialist language and professional communication skills they will need in the workplace.
If plagiarism or any unauthorized collaboration on assigments intended for individual work (weekly assignments, mid-term test, credit test, final presentation) is discovered, the student will not be given a grade with the possibility of disciplinary action.
Attendance is compulsory and is monitored.

Students’ participation is compulsory and their work is systematically monitored. Regular attendance, active participation in lessons and completing of all assigned tasks are required. Absence may be compensated for by an agreement with the teacher.
Aims
The course has a practical approach and is intended for pre-service students preparing for work in a business environment.
The course at the upper-intermediate level (B2 according to CEFR) is designed to prepare students for various economic professions. It will enrich their professional vocabulary and enable them to express themselves more authoritatively in professional contexts.
