Studying and gaining further knowledge of the selected topic of the specialization. Verification of simulation or experimental parts of the dissertation. Publications and presentations of creative activities output. Preparation of a semester plan of visits to professional events (seminars, conferences, congresses) as well as study or professional stays at foreign scientific and academic institutions. Active participation in the January ExFoS conference with a contribution to the dissertation topic.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

"The colloquium will be given by the supervisor upon the fulfillment of the following:
Implementation of experiments or simulations. Publications. Participation in professional events and conferences of the Institute of Forensic Engineering, BUT. The prerequisite for the colloquium is the elaboration and submission of the paper and application to the SDE by the deadline announced by the Institute."

Aims

The aim of the course is a controlled cooperation of the student with the supervisor and gaining knowledge from the scientific work including publishing.

The output after the fifth semester are, among others, other researches of domestic and foreign literature on the topic of the dissertation topic, publications at least at the JuFoS doctoral conference. Processing of the paper and submission of the application for the state doctoral examination.

Syllabus

1st - 13th weeks: Processing of the theoretical part of the doctoral thesis. Practical support of a doctoral student of the 2nd year of DSP with a related topic of the dissertation, realization of experiments and/or simulations. Publications. Participation in professional events and at the conference of the Institute of Forensic Engineering, BUT, ExFoS, or Juniorstav at FCE. Possible participation in the processing of expert opinions of the Institute of Forensic Engineering. Submission of the final report of their own project. Processing of the paper and application for state doctoral examination.
