Czech language 2

In the course of the semester, the students are introduced to and practice new vocabulary (holiday, travel, housing, services, complaining, human body, at the doctor’s, emergency situations) and grammatical structures (the past and future tenses, the locative case, the genitive case, the nominative plural, long and short verbs of movement). The course is taught predominantly in the Czech language.

The course is not available to students with Slovak as their first language.
Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
75% active attendance and the score of at least 50% in the final test are required for a successful completion of the course.
Aims
The goal of this course is to prepare the students for various everyday situations (planning; looking for accommodation; travel; going to the doctor’s; shopping), to deepen their knowledge of Czech grammar and to expand their Czech vocabulary.
