The course primarily focus on construction law in its basic structure of land use planning and building permitting. Special attention is paid to Uniform Environmental Statement Act, EIA and SEA, the process of expropriation of buildings with an emphasis on expropriation, technical requirements for construction products, FIDIC and BIM issues, as well valuation, technical requirements for construction products, FIDIC and BIM issues as well as forensic and expert witness work. Criminal aspects of construction activities will also be addressed.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
Workbased assignment, kolokvium.
Evaluation of the study results will be carried out in written form in the form of an on-line test (e.g. Moodle) and in the form of consultations and submission of a written assignment of 5,000 - 8,000 characters. There will also be a colloquium at the end of the module.
Aims
The aim of the course is to introduce students into the current construction law and some related areas of legal regulation. The focus will be placed on construction law itself as well as environmental protection (Uniform Environmental Statement Act, EIA, SEA), expropriation and its practical implications, technical requirements for construction products. The course further aimes at getting students acquainted with FIDIC contract terms, BIM, and forensic expertise. Last but not least, attention will be paid to the criminal aspects of construction activities.
Study aids
The study materials will be provided in the form of Power Point presentations covering the basic study requirements.
