The fourth part of the History of Architecture lectures builds on the preceding courses and presents the history of architecture in the 19th and 20th century. Using the reverse class method in the seminars, students are introduced to the general information, namely morphology and building types (town urbanism, church, chateaux, gardens, landscape design, tenement houses, public amenities, industrial buildings etc.), materials and structures. Students practically confront the newly acquired knowledge with selected Czech buildings from the 19th and 20th century on excursions.
