Suspension Training

The course is based on modern knowledge of sports training environment and the needs of current generation of university students. Throughout the course, the students learn or improve their knowledge and skills needed to maintain and develop their fitness and ensure health prevention through physical activities. It is based on a combined approach that includes balance, coordination and flexibility.
TRX allows participants to adjust the difficulty level by simply changing up their body’s angle. This will help students to get the best out of this functional training that includes full-body exercises and activates a number of muscle groups. It also boosts your stability, balance and flexibility, which are key in everyday life and for your overall health.

Entry knowledge

You need to have a basic level of fitness and coordination to get the most out of even the simplest TRX workouts and to be safe. The towel is necessary.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Credit- based on active participation in lessons, regular attendance together with registration in the attendance list (two unexcused participations are allowed). One credit is granted in accordance with the Directive No. 17/2019 concerning the teaching of Physical Education.
Apologies in advance by email to the guarantor of teaching (chlibkova@cesa.vutbr.cz).
Credits - controlled attendance, registration of attendance in the attendance sheets. Active participation in the lessons. Two unexcused absences are allowed. Compensation for absence within other TRX lessons after the previous consultation with the concrete teacher.

Aims

TRX is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously.
Credit – active participation in the lessons, registration of attendance. Two unexcused absences are allowed.
