Workshop Introduction to AI in Architecture

The workshop consist of two lectures and practical part
Architecture Typology : A theoretical lesson introducing architectural typologies around the world, and the existential need beyond it.
Introduction to AI in Architecture: Overview of AI's role in the future of architectural design, highlighting recent advancements and theoretical underpinnings.
AI Tools in Architectural Design and Typology: Practical session where participants first tour the city, picking up different typologies and the reason of their creation, then engage with AI tools to reimagine those typologies and architecture of their city. This final step anticipates mapping, drawing, and reimagining.

Aims

Workshop gives an basic knowledge of AI tools which can be used in architecture design and typology to the participating students. They gain overview the current state as well as future possibilities.
Workshop is led by Mustapha EI Moussaoui from Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

The course is completed with credit. Participation in the entire workshop and processing of the assigned work is mandatory for graduation. Substitution of teaching is not possible.
