The course gives the students information on pragmatic categories of language, namely pragmatic meaning interpreted by extralinguistic means, and the awareness of cooperative principle and illocutionary force appropriate use. This knowledge will facilitate the students' sophisticated use of language in professional contexts.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
The exam consists of the following parts:
test part of the exam: a test in the 2nd half of the semester (20 points, min. 10);
written part of the exam: a written assignment according to the instructions in elearning (20 points, min. 10);
oral part of the exam at the end of the semester (60 points, min. 30).
