Course detail

Electronic Circuits

FEKT-MPA-ELOAcad. year: 2025/2026

Students will become familiar with description of linearized electronic circuits that employ modern active elements (network functions and its interpretation) and with associated methods for analysis (sophisticated utilization of modified matrix method of nodal voltages). Course continues by answering questions involving noise analysis, sensitivity and tolerance analysis of electronic circuits and design of passive ladder structures. Then, problems with feedback, system stability and conditions for oscillation are solved. Course finishes with summary of methods for solving nonlinear electronic circuits.

Aims

Aim of this course is to introduce students concepts of selected electronic circuits that are typical parts of radio-frequency systems; its description and methods of analysis will be also presented.
The graduate is able: (a) autonomously and creatively apply matrix methods to the analysis and synthesis of the linearized circuits with active elements; (b) numerically and graphically solve nonlinear networks; (c) use computer to analyze and design amplifiers, filters, oscillators and similar electronic circuits with lumped parameters.
