Diploma Thesis

The student's individual diploma thesis solves a selected problem from the offer of assignments in the MPA-AAE study program. The topic of the thesis is assigned at the beginning of the summer semester of the academic year.

Entry knowledge

All compulsory courses of the first year of MPA-AAE have to be passed. 

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Credit is awarded by the thesis supervisor for its elaboration in accordance with the assignment and within the given deadline. The thesis supervisor and one reviewer will work out an opinion. The diploma thesis will be evaluated by the committee for state final examinations during its defense.
The student's work on the project is checked during regular individual consultations with the supervisor.

Aims

The aim of the course is the elaboration of a student's diploma thesis on a selected topic from the MPA-AAE study program.

A graduate of the course is able to: (a) independently elaborate a technical project (diploma thesis); (b) write a technical report on the project; (c) defend the project before an expert committee.
