Course detail
FSI-FLVAcad. year: 2025/2026
Subject is a part of Profesional pilot theoretial course. It is focused on enlarging of Flight mechanics knowledge and explanation of its confluence with requirements of flight rules, mainly Commission regulation (EU) No. 965/2012, Subpart C, Aircraft performane and operating limitations. Students will learn to determine of airplane limitaitons during all flight phases. They get knowledge important for effective and safe aircraft usage in comercial air transport.

Entry knowledge
Basics of mathematics - differential and integral calculus, common differential equations.
Basics of common mechanics - force effect on a body, kinematics, dynamics.
Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
Course-unit credit is required prior the exam.
The exam compries writen and oral parts. The writen part can be executed by test based on JAA/EASA-FCL Test Prep, 032 Performance.
Lectures and seminars are compulsory, and the attendance (80% at the minimum) is checked and recorded. The absence (in justifiable cases) can be compensated by individually assigned tasks and exercises.
Aims
The subject is focused on enlarging of Flight mechanics knowledge and explanation of its confluence with requirements of flight rules, mainly Commission regulation (EU) No. 965/2012, Subpart C, Aircraft performane and operating limitations. Students will learn to determine of airplane performance limitaitons during all flight phases considering safety margins specified by regulations of commercial air transport and apply principless of effective operation of the aircraft with respect to its performance.
