Bachelor Seminar (B-STG, Machining)

The course is familiarises students with methodology of retrieving information and searching the literature planning of experiments, as well as their evaluation. Also dealt with are the principles of elaboration of technical reports with respect to their formal and content structure and the basics of technical presentation and oral discussions.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Attendance at seminars, active participation, working out the diploma thesis
Participation in the courses is obligatory and can be specified by the supervisor of the diploma thesis.
Knowledge is checked by presentation of given topics.

Aims

The aim of the seminar is to provide students with knowledge and methodology necessary for working out technical projects.
The course facilitates working out the diploma thesis.

Syllabus

1.-13.: In every week, one seminar will be organized at which individual students will refer their diploma theses in such a way that all students will be given one chance during the semester. The theses will be discussed by the audience immediately after they are referred.
