Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Examination information:

  • Continuous work on the development of the proposal as part of the homework and the final oral presentation of the thesis proposal, including the supervising debate, are evaluated. Each student will have 15 minutes for an oral presentation and up to 30 minutes to answer questions from the supervisor and assessor.
  • Grading scale: pass/fail.

All lectures are mandatory.

Aims

The aim of the subject is to teach student how to wtrite thesis and conduct a systematic literature search and proper referencing.

The content includes a general introduction to proposal and thesis writing. The format is lectures before noon and exercises/group work after noon, with a final report with due date on Friday. The cours is taught by Berit Irene Helgheim, who is a Director of Master of Science in Logistics.
