The course is an introduction to the basic heat sources for family houses. During the lessons students will be gradually acquainted with boilers for solid and gaseous fuels, heat pumps, thermal solar systems and heating with electricity. The second half of the course will be devoted to hot-water heating systems, their types, connections and design.

Participation in the exercises is controlled by the exercise leader. Exercises are compulsory. The student will make up for an excused absence in agreement with the exercise leader.Lectures are optional.
