The aim of the lectures is to present, discuss and practice basic knowledge related to managerial functions corresponding to basic concepts from management theory and organizational theory.The first part focuses on the processes of planning, organizing, leading and controlling, at a scale appropriate to most universities and schools of similar specialization.The second part introduces students to the basic concept of organizing and the issues of organizing multinational companies, including future developments in management development trends.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
Active participation in the exercises during the presentation and subsequent discussion of the seminar papers is (among other things) required for the award of graded credit.During the semester, individual activities in the exercises are graded on a point system that is updated each semester according to the types of assignments.A student must earn at least 50% of the points in order to receive graded credit.Students have the opportunity to earn points for:term paper - required activity - up to 30 pointspresentation of the term paper - compulsory activity - up to 30 pointsknowledge test - compulsory activity - up to 40 points, for successful completion of the knowledge test it is necessary to obtain at least 50%, i.e. 20 points.Requirements for the knowledge test: knowledge of the lectured material and its practical application.The knowledge test is graded according to the ECTS scale, at least 50% of the points must be obtained for successful completion. The course grade includes the grade of the work during the whole semester.
Completion of the course for students with ISP:1) preparation and submission of a term paper.2) knowledge test
Aims
The aim is to teach students the modern understanding and application of management, including the context of management development, to provide them with the knowledge and experience needed to manage employees and to apply the most commonly used management models in practice.Students will gain an overview of the development trends in management, the origins of important changes in management. They will gain expertise in process and systems approaches to management, including many examples of practical applications.
