Cílem předmětu je prohloubit dosavadní znalosti v oblasti vstupu podniku na mezinárodní kapitálové trhy. Absolvováním předmětu posluchači získají potřebné znalosti pro rozhodování o vstupu podniku na lokální i mezinárodní kapitálové trhy, a to jak z pohledu investora, tak i z pohledu emitenta cenných papírů.
1. Definition of international capital markets, participants, their objectives and instruments
2. Legislation and institutional framework of international capital markets.
3. Investments on international capital markets. Investment strategies. Portfolio performance on international capital markets.
4. Trading in stocks and bonds on international capital markets.
5. Securities issuance on the international capital markets.
6. Initial Public Offering (IPO) - the motivation, emission methods, participants. The process of IPO implementation. The Costs and Benefits of IPO . Initial Return.
7. Empirical research - enterprise and capital market (case studies).
