Mastering the technology of basic machining methods in terms of physical and chemical interaction of machine-work-tool system. Mastering the basic ways of assembling engineering products and their respektive context.
Introducing students with basic engineering methods of technological calculations and their application on examples formed parts. Obtaining an overview of production technologies, technological processing, procedures and technical preparation of production.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
Participation in the exercises is compulsory. Requirements for credit are students' attendance at seminars and completion and processing of assigned tasks. The final exam is written and consists of 10 questions of machining problematic and 10 questions of metal forming problematic.
Active participation of students in teaching is assumed. The exercises are compulsory, participation will be confirmed by an attendance record.
