Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
The examination has a written and an oral part, and the final classification will be in accordance with the Rules for Studies and Examinations. Course-unit credit requirements: participation in the exercises, delivery of assigned papers. It is classificated to the ECTS grading scaleAttendance in lectures is recommended. Attendance at seminars is compulsory. Absence may be compensated for by the agreement with the teacher who can set a special programme to be worked out.
Aims
The main objective of the course is to provide students with the theoretical foundations of welding technologies. Students will acquire knowledge necessary for a creative and complex solution of industrial applications. The students will be made familiar with all types of modern welding technologies. They will be able to apply these technologies to the machine construction manufacturing and steel constructions. They will be able to use an independent creative attitude to the elaboration of welding procedure.
