Learning outcomes of the course unit

Knowledge of the esential economical terminology and categories; use of busines code and trade law in practice. Survey on basic activities for operation of enterprise and/or other organisation.

Basic knowledge of social and economic sciences (high school level).

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Students will take a credit test at the end of the term. It will consist of 6 questions, for each of them they can get 0 to 5 points.

1. Introduction to the subject. History of economy. Rules and laws of the business.
2. Effectivity of the enterprise. Production factors and costs of the business.
3. Aimes and functions of the enterprise, it`s typology and inner economical life.
4. Properties and capital structure of the enterprise.
5. Organization structure of the enterprise. Organization procedure of the enterprise.
6. Production activities of the enterprise. Purchase, sale and marketing.
7. Financing of the enterprise and investment.
8. Accountniss of enterprise and documentary evidence.
9. Specifications and differences among production plants, banks and trade organizations.
10. Small enterprises and business. International organizations.
11. Staffing policy. Wage systems.
12. Application of PC economical system of the enterprise. Information systems.
13. Summarizing of the subject, questions, informations.
