Laboratory Classes in Composite Materials

Žáků, kteří absolvují praktikum bude spolupracovat s vybranými charakterizačním metod polymerních a anorganických kompozitních materiálů. To jsou v tahu a ohybu, termogravimetrické analýzy složeného modelu kompozitní fragmentace test a charakterizace kompozitních lepených spojů. Taková charakteristika se bude do značné míry s sebou na vlastním-připraveny zkušební vzorky kompozintího materiál, protože to je část praxe výrobního procesu test částic. Do praxe je také návštěvy továrny složené Prefa Brno nebo GDP Koral.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will be able to prepare and characterize of composite material, it's mechanical and thermal properties.

Prerequisites

Fundamental concepts in mathematics, physics and makromolekular chemistry.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

In order to be awarded the course-unit credit students must prove 100% active participation in laboratory exercises, elaborate a paper on the presented themes and graded course-unit credit test.

3. Fabrication of inorganic composite material
4. Tensile test
5. Fabrication of composite lamine
6. Characterization of lamine
7. Determination of filler volumen content
8. Fragmentation test
9. Bending test
10. Fabrication of jointed composites
11. Characterisation of jointed composites
12,13. Industrial visit

Aims

Students will try to preparing, fabrication of test samples of composite material , they will introduced to characterization methods of composite material, its mechanical and thermal properties.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Attendance and activity at the seminars are required. One absence can be compensated for by attending a seminar with another group in the same week, or by elaboration of substitute tasks.
