Equipment for Chemical and Food Industries

Course is concerned with the design and operation of production machines used in food and chemical industry. Machines for the production of basic food products, basic chemical products and crude oil processing are described.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will learn of the teory of design and operation of industrial machinery. The course is supported with seminars, where planty of practical examples are solved.

Prerequisites

Basic knowlege of machinery, mathematics and strength of materials.

The course objective is to make students familiar with the basics of design and operation process machines for the most important part of chemical and food industries..

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Participation in seminars is registered. A written report from on the missed saminar is necessary to submit to the lecturer.
