Visual Composition in Time - winter

The course deals with the reflection and creation of the moving images - with and without the help of the computer. We will focus on the basics of composing of temporalized image.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The course will offer an overview of the prehistory and history of optical deviced. Students will get familiar in working with production and post-production software, including the works of art of living artists.

The prehistory and history of optical devices, of fillm, analogue and digital video.

The first semester of the course is devoted to the thematic information regarding the possibilities of ways of working with the moving image, including those which preceeded digital technologies.
