Atelier I - Body Design - summer

The theme of SENSES. Deeper insight in the level of self-portrait. Encounter with exact intimate perceptions. The process of self-censorship, control, opening up. Common studio theme: COMMUNICATION/ISOLATION - clash with outer environment, confrontation.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Deepening the insight in the personal space and its gradual mapping. Knowledge of wider artistic context of the studio.

Prerequisites

Theoretic and practical experience from the completed first semester. Experiences of insight in personal territory and communication in visual and verbal form.

Aims

To reach deeper concentration in the space of the personal cave. Looking out, confrontation with outer environment. Searching sensitive attitudes towards the topic. Connecting content levels with formal aspects of the creative process and of the artwork itself.
