Interactive Installation

The course deals with the practical creation of interactive computer installations. It analyses inputs of interactive installation, along with the model of reaction and multimedia output. Inputs - qualities and use of optical, ultrasonic and other applications. The model of the reaction of installation on inputs - first a simple one, then more complex (neuronal grid, artificial intelligence). The climax of interactive installation is represented by multimedia output.

Creation of interactive computer installations, inputs of interactive installations, models of reaction and multimedia output. Completion of interactive installation is characterized by multimedia output.

Introduction to interactive computer installation.
Inputs.
Sensors for transformation of physical quantities to voltage, optical sensors, infrared bolt, infrapassive sensor, mechanical sensors.
Tensionmeter, treading contacts, acoustic sensors, microphones, ultrasound distance sensors, microwave sensors, other sensors, interface circuits, transfer of information to computer by means of MIDI.
Sensitivity, time qualities of sensors, resistance to perturbative tension, interference.
