Course curriculum

1. Hydropedology, soil forming process and its factors, granularity and porosity of soil, soil classes
2. Structure of soil, soil types, soil water, soil moisture, chemical and biological properties
3. Role and importance of irrigation, irrigation demand, draught reasons, plant and water, irrigation quantity, quality of irrigation water
4. Objects, linear structures, design of irrigation and system, spray irrigation, irrigation equipment and machines
5. Erosion in the world - classification of erosion, factor influencing erosion, intensity and acceptable limit
6. Design of erosion control measures, Basic rules dor dimensioning of erosion control items, torrens control
7. Determination of surface runoff parameters - simplifying preconditions, methods of culmination runoff and flood volume calculation in small watersheds
8. Drainage - reasons, occurance and assessment of waterlogging, distribution and movement of water in soil
9. Main drainage facilities, detailed drainage facility
10. Special drainage - sloping areas, sportgrounds, transport structures
11. Stability of landscape, territorial systems of stability
12. Skeleton of the lansdscape
13.-14. Land consolidation
