Water Supply

Water intake, basic technological processes of water treatment, water disinfections, balance declaration of water consumption, calculation of water demand, conceptual design of water supply systems, pressure zones, reservoirs and pumping stations, design and assessment of water distribution network, tube materials, tube fittings and armatures, design documentation.

1. Water intake, primary pre-treatment.
2. Coagulating. Homogenizing equipment. Flocculation tanks.
3. Sedimentation theory. Sedimentation tanks.
4. Clarification theory. Types of clarifiers.
5. Slow filtration. Rapid filtration.
6. Handling and storing chemicals of water-treatment plants. Water disinfection.
7. Sludge management of water-treatment plants.
8. Water demand and water consumption.
9. Conceptual design of water supply systems, pressure zones.
10. Water supply pumping stations.
11. Water tanks
12. Water distribution network, design and hydraulic analysis.
13. Tube materials, fittings and armatures.
14. Design documentation of water supply systems.
