Reading Skills.

FEKT-CJA2Acad. year: 2010/2011

The course is focused on efficient reading and reading comprehension,mostly in combination with other skills.Different types of general and professional texts are used,as well as different reading techniques,such as scanning,skinning,intensive reading,and reading for problem solving.Both general and professional vocabulary is enriched.
The course is suitable for the PGS exam and for other exams organized outside the faculty.
It is a two-semester course.

Students improve their reading skills,comprehension of English texts and they enrich their general and specialized vocabulary.

Intermediate level of English is requested

2. to 11. vocabulary work, British press, mathematical expressions, comprhension reading, reconstruction of incomplete texts, a complete cloze
