Propagation of EM waves in homogeneous and non-homogeneous environment. propagation of EM waves along transmission lines and in real terrain. Radiation of EM waves. basic types of antennas and their parameters. Matching and symetrization circuits. Basic HF circuits below 1 GHz: amplifiers, modulators, demodulators. Basic microwave circuits above 1 GHz: filters, amplifiers. Commercial software for modeling and design of microwave circuits.
