Industrial electronics

FEKT-LPELAcad. year: 2010/2011

The course is focused onto analogue technics - linear and non-linear circuits with operational amplifiers (amplifiers, filters, oscillators, comparators, device-rectifiers, controlled limiters, signal generators). Further basic digital circuits and some special circuits are solved. An attention is paid to the problems of galvanic separation of control signals in pulse converters.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students learn to work with electronic circuits applicated typically in the field of switching converter technics, electrical drives and in the field of measuremnt in power electronics.

Prerequisites

The subject knowledge on the Bachelor´s degree level is requested.

Course curriculum

Linear analogue circuits with opamps (amplifiers, filters, oscillators). Non-linear circuits with opamps (comparators, device-rectifiers, controlled limiters, signal generators). Digital circuits: combinatorial, sequential, memories. TTL, CMOS, internal structure. Circuity rules with respect to the high internal and external interference imunity. Voltage-control-oscillators, phase loop, frequency multiplication, frequency exchanges.

Aims

Students learn the typical electronic circuits in industrial applications. An attention is paid especially to switching-converters-technique, electric drives and measurement.
